The biggest problem for the dems is going to be there split between Hilary and obama. They are split right in the middle, and I think that the greater percentile that supports hillary will not vote for obama.

This happening will be the only chance in hell we can get McCain in office!

You really think that when it comes to it a dem will not vote for a dem???2172_shocked.gif...Y, that'd be like a repub not voting for a repub.....Yeah, not gonna happen. That'll go over about as good as a fart in church. Folks can say what they want, and a few people may follow thru with the threats of not voting party line, but that will only be a minuscule amount of people. Nothing that will effect anything.

to me it is very simple how to decide who to vote for.

If you believe in socialism then vote for Obama.

If you believe in capitalism then vote for McCain.

what you guys better be thinking about is the Supreme Court Judges that Obama would replace. Also what executive orders he could sign pertaining to guns that could change the industry, without a vote of congress. Its all about voting against Obama at this point.

How does that work, replacing of Supreme Court Judges, quick and dirty version?

I was thinking that the Pres can nominate one, when their is a vacated seat, then they have to go through questioning and be confirmed by congress. Am I close? If so, who is vacating their seat?

That's pretty much it. The Dems have been able to block nominees (remember Bork?). The GOP is too nice to play that game.

John Paul Stevens was a Carter appointee and born in 1920. He is probably waiting for the next president before he retires.

You basically have two very liberal Judges that will have to retire if they dont die on the bench in hte next 4-8 years... 1 for sure.

Judge John Paul Stevens.... 88 years old.

Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg... 75 years old

I think it's more like:

If you believe in communism then vote for Obama.

If you believe in socialism then vote for McCain.
