Sweet. I just picked up a M&P 22 the other day. Have similar plans of making it quiet, just not into the current wait times.

I like my dedicated. I had the barrel cut down to 10" then a tube welded on the end to bring it back up to 16+". My suppressor slides down inside the tube and screws in place. With my can in place the barrel is only 18" long making it much easier to manuever.

Wow, I never thought about doing it that way. Pretty smart since you only need one stamp. Did you do it yourself or have it done at a smith?

Hell of an optic for a 22!

Yeah, I had an extra one laying around. I wouldn't have bought an M3 just to put on this gun.

I figured. At least you don't have to worry about it lighting up when you take it out.

Just a follow-up...

I put about 300 rounds through it (all suppressed). CCI Subs, Aquilla Subs, and Rem Target.
Aquilla was the most quiet. CCI was the most accurate...not a huge sound difference, so I went with CCI as my preferred load zeroed.
One hole groups at 25 yards (longest I shot so far) with CCI.
Zero malfunctions (IIRC, the manual, and others, said something about subsonics possibly not cycling so I'm glad this wasn't an issue since I specifically bought this gun to be quiet).
Anyway, very happy.
