Do you have you HCP (Hazardous Cell Phone) permit for that....what about OC at opry mills mall ?

What if you are OC'ing with your phone and someone gets your number and calls you before you can call them ? then what ?

What if security sees you with your cell phone out and asks you to leave and your wife and kids went separate ways ???

I am going to go around to all the malls and speak with the mall mangers about people carrying cell phones in there and get them properly posted....then all the malls will be safe from cell phones....except the criminals...they will still be able to call each other .....:P

Post offices, Social security offices, driver testing stations, etc. Why not ban crying babies or the little kids who run around and make a lot of noise? How about sick people or people with BO or bad breath?

Personally, nothing irritates me more than some yahoo standing in line and being waited on, telling the clerk to hold on a minute while they talk on the phone. I am glad these places are banning them. Heck, I might even take a stance like you on this one and be sure all these places are properly posted with no cell phone signs. You know, just so it's legal and all.

heck I did not know anywhere was banning them. I need to get out more often.

I say the gov't ought to take over cell phones and maybe make them illegal period.

and another thing. You can be darn well certain that if the SHTF big brother will be disabling cell networks. They will not want you talking to one another when WW3 is starting.

There is nothing more annoying than sitting or standing next to someone in deep conversation like they are in their own home. What is worse is when they have a bluetooth in their ear. I was behind a woman this morning in the McD's drive thru and she told the order person to wait a minute so she could finish her call. The person behind me honked and she stucj her head out of the window and yelled "WHAT?"... GO FIGURE!!!

So, should they ban conversations in these places?

I agree you should not carry on two converstaions at the same time, but that is not the issue, if it were they would ban cell phones while being served at the counter.

The question was should they ban conversations. They have already banned cell phones, wasn't it obvious that I was speaking of conversations between two people who are physically inside these waiting room who are standing next to each other?
