I know that I can get a conversion barrel to shoot .40S&W from a glock chambered for .357SIG like a G32 /G33.. But can I get a .357SIG barrel for my G27 .40S&W? Thus, I know I can conver going one way, but can I go the other? Will the Glock 22/23/27 frame support that round if you get the .357 barrel??

Thanks!

if this conversion is possible, what is the cost of getting the coversion barrel? Do you just take the slide off and relpace the old barrel with the new? that easy????

also, can you use the same mag or do I need to get a different mag for the .357? I know the case is the same diameter, but did not know if it would work given the bottleneck of the .357.

simple barrel swap that's it, same mags. I have done this my 33 using a friends 27 barrel worked great. not sure on the price of barrels.

The mags are interchangeable. As for barrel price and what is involved check out the Glock Store, Glockmeister and Lone Wolf Barrels. Also GLOCK FORUM.

I have a Sig P229 that I have the .40 and .357 sig barrels for. My mags are stamped with both calibers.

One warning that I have for you is to be aware of what barrel you have in. If you have the .357 sig barrel and try to shoot a .40, it won't work because the profile of the barrel won't allow the .357 sig cartridge to fully seat which won't allow the slide to close completely. If you have the .40 barrel and try to shoot .357 sig, it will fire since the cartridge will fit and allow the slide to close completely. So, you'd have a .357 bullet rattling down your .40 barrel.
