Questions about BCM blem lower recievers

Hey I have a couple questions about the BCM Blemmies.

1. Can I buy them anywhere else besides BCM's website.

2. Can I have them shipped as an "other" lower so I can make it a pistol for the time being.

Hoping to get some feedback cause I'm ready to role the dice on this thing.

I'm not sure about #1, but #2 is YES, and that up to the FFL you use to transfer. Just make sure they check the right box before they call it in

I haven't seen a factory stripped receiver. They've all been assembled rifle stocks. There aren't a lot of places to get them and they're out right now I thought. Do you have a line on one?

I wish I did. I just realized that they are all on back order and sold out. Also, I think you are right, they do not sell stripped lowers. So that means that I can't have it shipped as an "other" correct?

Yep. BCM 12.5.

Have you looked for other stripped lowers. I got a Spikes from joeboboutfitters for $89, their availability changes week to week

GandRtactical use to have the blem lowers, but according to Grant (the owner of G&R) on m4c BCM Blem lowers are gone forever. I don't see them listed on the BCM site either.

Just gonna sell my 14.5 BCM upper an put an SBR on it and then build a spikes 14.5, or something better/cheaper. Any suggestions on a quality mid length 14.5?

Everything I have read seems to point that BCM does the Mid-length better than just about anyone. I love my BCM BFH 14.5 with a BC, and I did some looking around before I bought.

Check out Mega lowers. I just bought 2 more Tuesday! Love em. Replacing the DPMS lower on my 14.5 with one and sending one to ident for form 1 marking. Giddy about building my first SBR.

Did you a want the upper and lower to match? I'd keep the BCM upper and get a different lower

No I'm gonna sell my BCM M4 upper, keep the BCM lower, and buy a BCM SBR upper. And buy a mid-length

My advice is buy a whatever lower and do the bcm uppers. You won't want to do the upper swap game with the sbr and a mid. May not be able to get low power ammo to run on the mid running the heavier buffers Usually used with the sbr. Maybe can but its something to consider.

Here's my current upper.

I'm going to buy a factory 12.5 from BCM

and a factory 14.5 middy from BCM.
