Fingerprinting?

Who does this in Nashville/Madison/Goodlettsville? I've called all the UPS stores and they all said no, called all the Kinko's - no. So where is the best place to get this done?

Guns and leather can fingerprint you.

If its fingerprint cards for class 3 we can't. Our machine is digital and bound to L1 Identity Solutions fingerprinting only. State contracted stuff like HCP's and the like.

AK,

Have you considered going the trust route? I went through an attorney, but I've seen some people do their own online. Don't have to get fingerprinted and the process is a bit easier :)

I have but I'm only getting the Draco SBR'ed. I won't be getting anything else, at least I have no intentions. If I were doing more or getting something I wanted to make sure got passed down, like full auto, I definitely would go the trust route. For just one, I don't see the advantage financially.

Stamp collecting is an addicting hobby, good luck with the "just one" plan. :) Multiple stamps later, I wish i would have gone the trust route. Mostly in case I get whacked by a bus or something not forseen. Save the famliy some head aches.

Ended up going through Ashland City and stopped by the PD. They couldn't have been nicer. $5 a set.We talked a lot about guns. They even told me about a Ruger LCP that was used to kill a guy. Evidently the victim shoot his attacker with it then the attacker wrestled the LCP away and shot the victim three times killing him. Interesting. At least I thought so.<img src='http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

There were no victims in that case, just two dumbasses. One is dead and the other is in jail.

That was the impression I got. I just thought the details of the gun and shooting were interesting. The PD were very professional and didn't relay anything about the people involved, mostly just gun talk.

On a somewhat related note; has anyone had fingerprints taken for a VAF file and been rejected because the prints weren't of "sufficient quality"?

I've had the happen twice (first prints done at Murfreesboro PD and second as Smyrna PD) and have pretty much given up on getting the VAF...I've been told it's because my fingerprints don't have a lot of detail because of the work I do (software application/report development meaning I type all day) yet I have a difficult time swallowing that...then again, when I got my HCP the technician (in Murfreesboro) had trouble getting a "good read" on their electronic machine so I don't know.

If anyone has any suggestions/info I'd appreciate it! :)

Just a word of advise . Never just get one set. I always get at least 2 .

Just out of curiosity, why is that? Is the extra set for future items of because the ATF has paperwork issues?
