I ordered this from Bud'd Gunshop and received yesterday. Fired 50 rds thru it this morning using Blazer 9mm 115g FMJ and Winchester Target 115g FMJ. After zeroing ATN Ultra-Sight, groups within 1.5" at 25 yds. Also shot tops of bowling pins at 25 yds. Very accurate and no recoil. Trigger is a little heavy.

RRA mag (UZI modified/w metal follower) worked well but did not hold bolt open on last round. A.S.C. LLC mag with orange plastic follower worked well and held bolt open on last round. No feeding or extracting problems.

Next, the wife gets to shoot it. A very good short range carbine for house and woods. I shot 2 rounds at 100 yds and it hit high on target, would hit a man size target.

The ATN reflecx red dot sight worked good. I bought a Magpul MBUS rear sight, but may return it, for I really like reflex sight.

I will purchase another ASC mag at $23.95. I wonder if an ASC follower, if available, would work in UZI mag?

I may add a front sight tri-rail mount for a light and/or laser, for I don't see a need for a forearm w/quad rails.. What would you suggest?

Very nice! I'm lacking a few parts to complete my 9mm pistol build but Ill share pics once completed. Do you reload? I'm curious how it will perform with 147gr subsonic loads?

Edit-where did you get the ASC mags?

ASC LLC of New Britian, CT makes mags and can be ordered thru their web-sight, $19.99 + shipping. I reload, but not 9mm.

Last weekend my wife shot the LAR-9 at 25 yards and grouped about 2"c-c. She was able to hit the top portion of bowling pins at 25 yds. She shot 50 rds and did real well.
I took LAR-9 out today and shot about 85 rounds of assorted ammunition: FMJ., HP, SP, and CCI Blazers. Goup size was about 1.5" at 25 yards standing.
Bowling pins were very easy to hit, especially the narrower tops. I don't know why I haven't owned a 9mm AR before. Ammo is much cheaper and recoil is non-existant. Now I need to catch Federal 100 rd packs of 9mm FMJ at Wal-Mart ($19.99). I've never been able to find it in stock, always on backorder. Edited by lshel
