That will cost him. romney's answer was clearly better but he should have said something about statistics.

Nice save by the moderator when Rommney brought up Fast and Furious.She went directly to another topic when he finished.

No, but I'm sure Trippi is spinning it at Fox like that. Trippi is probably ecstatic that the phony came out swinging

tonight.

Not completely, but she did have her moments.

It's always easy to question the moderator, but she deserves the criticism she's going to get on siding with Obama and curtailing the debate on Benghazi.

She may ultimately do the President more harm than good, though as this gives an opening to talk about what really happened. They only allowed Hillary to take ownership of it this morning, and that's after dodging questions for two weeks.

Offended? The American people should be offended.

To sum up what Obama said :

My plans the last four years are working;

But we need an AWB to make our country safe, and I'm all for the 2nd Amendment;

more green energy and less natural resources energy( coal, gas, oil); we need more Chevy Volts and more stimulus money for the unions;

tax the fat cats and small businesses so that everyone has a fair shot, and that the economy stays stagnant and that unemployment stays above 8%;

borrow more money from China to keep giving to the dead beats, and adding to the deficit insuring total economic collapse;

don't worry about foreign affairs danger because the "Buck stops with me";

"trust me young black man, things will get better for you, and don't lose faith in our Hope and Change, after all I'm your savior".

Basically, the same old BS we've heard for last four years.

Neither candidate was comfortable with that question. Obama skimmed over the AW-ban as fast as he could and went straight after Romney's Mass. AW-ban. Romney said he doesn't support any new laws as fast as he could get the words out of his mouth and went straight after Obama for Fast and Furious. And they moved on without any protest.

Neither candidate wanted to duke it out over this. Even the CNN anchors barely mentioned this exchange during the after-show.

America isn't interested. It's all about the jobs. Only Nina Rodriguez & the Brady Bunch doesn't understand this yet: http://bradycampaign.org/media/press/view/1540/

When are people going to realize the President has little, to nothing, to do with job creation? Congress does have impact, the President, not so much. It may be about jobs, but seriously, the economy does not work that way.

As for 2nd A, the true colors of both candidates were shown. Both have crappy records on the matter. Both wanted to get away from the question as quickly as possible. Both are not supporters of the 2nd A.

Besides, why argue and dither about it now? Most everyone has their minds made up on this forum.

Actually Joe Trippi was criticizing Obama and Crowley more than Romney. Pleasantly surprised here.

I don't understand how the leadership of the NRA can be so confused about this issue. They've been in the room with Romney, which kinda relieves them of quarterback status. Do you really believe that Wayne and the boys are swallowing a line of crap?

As long as there is an uninformed populace, there will be people who will believe the zingers

the media tells them to get there boy elected.

One has a very crappy record and the other has a less than perfect record. There's the choice. One

is automatically going to ban something, just like an oil well permit, or CAFE standards. The other won't

be given the bill to deal with.

If they hand Pres. Romney an AW-ban bill, it will only be a symbolic gesture from the Dems to say, "See, he doesn't care about the CHILDREN! Hillary 2016!!!"

But it would take some serious voodoo to get it through the House unless something really bad goes down next month.

If Obama gets another term, he'll give it the old Harvard try and might still fail. But it won't matter if he stacks the Supreme Court. Hillary will gladly pick up where he leaves off.

The Dems don't have a chance of regaining the House this time. The Senate can't do it on their own.

Maybe in some alternate universe, but not happening now.

All this talk about Hillary in 2016. Everyone knows that looks are important in the Presidential race, and Hillary is a sure looser there!

She's really aged the last year or two. In four more years she will look really rough.

BHO has tainted the party with a stench that will last through 2016.

They have no one, Billary blew her chances for having the balls that BHO doesn't have by taking responsibility for Benghazi. Either way it's going to take at least 4yrs to sort out all the scandals, including F&F, and the screw ups this administration has been involved in.

At least I hope so, I can't imagine all of this just being ignored.

She took one for the team. So she'll be the nominee in 2016, whether O is reelected or not. Same reason Slick Willy is stumping for him. Even though they both detest him.

Hildebeeste will lose weight, redo the hair, and be ready to go.

These are totally political creatures, they're not really human.

You are right saying the pres. can't do much to help the economy. They can do a bunch to hurt the economy. That's what you're seeing now.

I think Romney is playing the AWB like Bush did. While he (Bush) did say he would renew the ban if it crossed his desk, he made darned sure it never made it that far. It's just a political move to play both sides publicly. Now you can argue if this is a good strategy or not but the politicians seem to think it works.

I tend (hope) to think that the NRA has met with Romney and know what his true stance is on 2nd amendment issues is. I also think they like what he told them.
