Now, Obama believes in the free enterprise system; I guess I was wrong about him being a Marxist/commie.

Actually, he said that, but I cringed because I expected to hear him say "as long as Government can control it."

Is it just me or has Obama beat around the bush and avoided answering almost every question?

Both of them are equally guilty of failing to give direct answers to many of the question.

I don't think it was a draw at all. Mitt had his anxiety moments, but Candy helped cause some of them.

The main thing I noticed was that Obama had no problem lying about just about anything. He was

aggressive, but with vanilla wafers. Romney still maintains an edge in the debating because he stuck

to the truth, far as I could tell. I expect to see the polls indicate an increase in Romney's climb to the

presidency. Obama couldn't adequately defend his record, which can't be defended.

I was actually impressed with most of the questions. I absolutely cannot stand Candy Crowley, though.

Obama may have fired up his base, but I doubt he gained a single woman or an undecided.

You can not rob Peter to pay Paul , it's just a dog chasing it's tail with the whole world watching with most of the hair landing on the other countries clothing ; then we clean it all up. We must pull back the military from other continents to save billions , bring our forces home where we need them and put them to work at home.. We must invest in finding and getting our own oil , it's out there ; we've just been waiting for the right time to use it. The plan is simple ; when will we set it into place ?

Worst part was her support of Hussein's claim about calling the Benghazi thing "terrorism" the next day in the Rose Garden. He did not, only mentioned the word "terroism" in general in closing sentence. Had just harped on the "we don't know but there's this YouTube thing" up till then.

Mitt was right and she and Hussein were wrong, but her statement of got roar of pro Hussein approval from the crowd.

You don't have to rob Peter to pay Paul. Romney articulates that when he is given the opportunity. Obama

and his party absolutely believes Peter has to be robbed to pay Paul because they believe in a zero sum game,

also a static environment. No such animal exists.

I noticed that, too, but he got a roar from the peanut gallery once, I noticed, also. Candy tried to mitigate

Obama's and Romney's statements, but I don't think she really helped much.

I think Romney scored better with his answers, but I wished he was more concise on some. He took too long to get

around to the meat and potatoes, and some of his answers may end up as propaganda bites in Dem ads.

I was expecting the both of them to go at it with their fists, early on. I was actually hoping for it, too.

What I really would like to see in a debate is that the two are on stage for a back and forth for, say two hours,

with no one moderating. I'd love to see what really is on their minds. These controlled debate settings are only

for the meek. This stuff is only faux debating.

It didn't seem like it. If you had asked me right after I would have said Romney talked for longer than the President.

That alone probably indicates a stronger performance. It might have seemed that way, though because the cameras seemed to position Romney in front of the clock a lot more.

The point they were actually trying to make is that well-raised and successful young adults don't use gun violence to settle scores or rob liquor stores.

It was painful to watch, the inequity when Obama ran over his time and kept going for more than a minute while Romney was stopped much quicker was frustrating. The half truths coming out of Obama's mouth drives me crazy (Benghazi/taxes/gas prices/etc.). The constant attack on Romney's success frustrates me. The closing comments of Obama insinuating that the "47%" was ex-soldiers, teachers, etc., was just laughable. Romney was referring to those that are leeches to the system, not those struggling to make it.

Will politics ever get any better - I doubt it.

I thought it was hilarious that Romney tried to downplay signing the AWB, claiming that pro-gun people got together with anti's and "this is what they wanted".

Why not just admit he made a mistake and reassure us it won't happen again? That would have earned my respect. He should have also pointed out what Obama said about the violence in Chicago. Here is a prime example of a city with the strictest gun control plagued by violence. He passed up a great opportunity there.

Oh well, I guess it's better to have someone in office that MIGHT sign another AWB instead of someone who undoubtedly WILL sign an AWB.
