How do you convert UZI mag for the RRA 9mm? I am thinking about going to RRA LAR-9 which comes with a Colt 32 rd mag.

Colt mags are around $75. What is cost of UZI mag and conversion parts?

thanks

But do they provide last round hold open? UZI converted mags do not provide hold open with out welding a piece in. I spent the money and the time on finding real colt mags and have zero issues. But I use promag poly mags at the range as my last few mags and they are not that expensive.

I used Metalform mags with the Colt 9mm upper I owned. They ran really well. They can be had for around $30-$40ea at Brownells.

C-Products and Metalform both have been OEM mag suppliers to Colt at one time or another.

I use the mag well adaptor. Then you don't have to alter the UZI mags. It's made by VM HY Tech.

I bought an ASC Ltd mag with orange plastic follower, it held bolt open on last round shot. Can a similar follower be used in place of the UZI metal follower?

Any body have experience in buying and installing such a follower.
