Its on live right now on Red Bull Stratos website..and on TV..

My hat is off to this guy.. that takes a huge amount of brass cahones..lol

And a very neat and interesting perspective from the outside of the capsule..

22 miles is 115,720. Why is the 10,000 more to go?

i was editing my post when you replied....i heard someone say 120,000 and also 22 miles?....confused

here is what the web site says....adds more confusion

SOmeone was complaining because he didn't go supersonic and only hit 710mph... Really? ONLY 710mph in a free fall? :rofl:

Crazy. The view was amazing. Everything seemed to go well considering the feat that was being attempted.

His goal was to break the sound barrier and have the longest freefall. I think 710 mph would have done if he were

closer to Earth, but where he reached that speed didn't add up to a win. He was short on the freefall record, but

it was truly an amazing jump and it took 50 + years to beat it. Absolutely amazing.

I am watching the press conference. Evidently he did make Mach 1. 1.24 to be exact. 833 MPH.

I thought he was in trouble when he started to flip. But it was cool to watch. His family had to be trippin.
