And by the way relatives are part of the neighbors we do not like. I used to get asked about what "big" gun I was shooting down there. The big gun? A 9mm or 45 acp rifle. When I would shoot 223 you would think I was setting off an A Bomb.

Someone has to have a 400 Corbon.

If you can make it to Knoxville I have two boxes of ammo for it, well one is missing 5 rounds. Factory Corbon 135gr JHP. All it will cost you is a trip here.

Grips are California Buckeye Burl. Picked up the scales at the Atlanta Blade Show. Sent them to Zipps Grips and he made 1911 grips out of them.

Thanks Dolomite, I will let you know if I get up that way, I will trade you something for that ammo. Its a good Caliber, I also have an Officer's size barrel in that caliber.

I had one. The first gun I bought (Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec) for $400 came with one. Got the factory .45 ACP barrel, as well as the .400 CB barrel with 1.8 boxes of .400 CB ammo. I fired I think five rounds of the .400 CB.

It was very awesome, but with ammo being scarce and took the ammo and barrel to a local gunship/smith and the smith paid me $100 cash for the combination. I figured $100 would buy me a lot of (figuratively) .45 ACP and then I'd only technically have $300 in the gun.

It was...an awesome round to say the least.
