Wanted to find a rail and cheap scope for my Marlin Model 60. Found the rail and this scope was listed in the "Suggestions". Well, it looks a little (a lot) out of place on a .22 rimfire, but it will do for now.photo.JPG?psid=1

Edited. It shows up on my end. I logged out of TGO and can see it still.

No good.

You can see it because you're logged into your MS Live account I reckon. I don't know how that service works, but I'm sure there's a way to make image public.

That's one big-ass optic!

30mm is a bit large. Most of the regular scopes for 22s are not much smaller, except longer. Most of the ones I've seen online are around 30mm or so. When it's squashed into 4 or so inches its looks rediculous. I'll give a go next week.

Ah, can see it now. Can I ever. :)

Speaking of the mighty Marlin 60, picked a used stainless/wood stock model up not long ago, wanted one still stamped from CT. Been meaning to get one for years and the factory change finally prompted me.

Anyway, was maybe gonna add sling swivel bases, was disappointed to find that the fore stock is really not thick enough to securely screw one in, and it'll take a rather jury rigged method to do one. And don't think I'd trust it to handle stress of a bipod even doing that.
