Why Romney will win this election

Yep, the liberal media sure didn't like the results they witnessed, even though they tried to give a good spin that Romney cheated or the Mile high air made Obama light headed. I'm interested to see what excuses they use next time.

Thanks for the good ideas 6.8, Mike, and Punisher. Yep Chris Matthews and pals freely admitted (in fits of fear, loathing and panic) that Romney "won the debate". However, Romney's "elegant rhetoric and mannerisms" in no way shook fanatic confidence in the "rightness" of Obama's beliefs and policies. They concluded that Romney happened to better-explain "incorrect" ideas, whereas Obama had a bad night of incompetently explicating "correct" ideas. They merely feared that too many "common folk" of sufficiently weak mind might be fooled by Romney's "lies and distortions". Being skilled practitioners in the art of lies and distortion, they should know.

It was unexpected that such as Michael Moore and Chris Matthews would EVER publicly admit that Romney "won". Indicative that Romney most likely really did out-BS an expert BS artist. No surprise at all that Hannity or Mark Levin would conclude That Romney "won" because Romney spouted more agreeable concepts. A surprise finding from those quarters would be if Hannity could ever in a million years grudgingly admit that Obama had "won" a debate. Unless Romney would have recited Das Kapital from behind the debate lectern, then OF COURSE right-wingers like Hannity or Levin would agree that Romney won.

Lawyers, politicians and such, prize the ability to skillfully debate any side of a controversy. For instance given the debate topic, "Does two plus two equal four, or does two plus two equal five?"-- Perhaps a skilled-enough debater could win the proposition that two plus two equals five, but it is difficult to appreciate any utility of a rhetorically skilled BS artist "proving" a ridiculously incorrect proposition. :)

I'm real optimistic. I think the leaders in the business community have had more than enough of Obama. I think the general public is catching on too.

The left has Big Bird. That may be enough to rally the mother jones crowd, but just has to send a message to folks with a brain.

My gut said that the debate would level the field. It pretty much has. Wait 'til Mitt flies into him on foreign policy at the next one.

Actually, the owners of Seseme Street gave Oblamo the knock it off letter.
