Didn't Rick find Lori's wedding ring on the floor? If not, what was it that he picked up?
That is what I was wondering? Ring....or a bullet? Or a piece of her!?

And I know that we are supposed to assume that walker ate her completely....but do we?
What a HUGE shocker tha would be later on....Lori showing up as a walker. (wishful thinking on my part I'm sure)

It still would be a great dynamic and promt a very good scene.....

Ha! I see the post above me now! Explained it, must have been posting at the same time :)

I got a hunch Carol is still alive, prolly being held by whoever is messing with them.I don't think the black con who Rick ran off and then killed last week is behind all thats going on.Last weeks episode showed sombody bringing back a deer carcas and dropping it off to the walkers then placing the heart on the ground seperately.I don't see a gangbanger con doing that.

Why would they dig a hole for carols body then fill it in if they didn't find her? Weird.

The governor just keeps getting more like every politician. Give them bread and circuses!

PS: excellent use of duct tape armor by the scientist

I was thinking the same thing as I was watching this episode.

No way Carol is dead yet. Her and Daryl haven't played out. Not saying she is safe, so one is, but there's more to this story.
I see Carl and Beth a couple before long too. They'd make a cute couple and she needs him. She's fairly useless thus far. Look how clean her clothes are. Carl needs to teach her a thing or two about contribution. Carl had to buck up and learn it fast, she's no different.

I just can't get past the fact that Daryl was all about that baby....

heard that the whole episode was filled with craziness, i am surprised that the gov didnt just cut off michonnes head, she is kind of meddlesome and paranoid, good with a blade though. i like the governor as weird as he is, he does what is necessary to keep the people alive. the whole daughter thing was a bit freaky but everyone copes differently i guess, dangerous keeping her around IMO though, rick is finally becoming the person it is going to take in order to survive and if he keeps at it he could potentially become a character i like, merle is the stuff, beat that guy up with a one handed a$$ whoopin' LOL

The Governor is one creepy dude....heads in aquariums, brushing zombie kid's hair, experimenting on walkers, and gladiators fighting among walkers instead of lions. But, I don't think that's all the "crazy" he is up to.

If it was, why did he kill the soldiers instead of offering them sanctuary. I'm thinking he didn't want them competing with him for whatever. He's giving me a cult leader vibe and I think he wants blondie to be his new zombie-baby momma.

It looks like Andrea and the Guv will hook up. They showed a scene during the Talking Dead for next week's episode. They also showed Andrea leaving in a hurry, so I'm thinkning she figures out who Penny is and realizes Michonne was right about the place and takes off after her.

Looked like a flattened bullet

Yes. It was the bullet Carl used to dispatch his momma. They said so on The Talking Dead. The bloated zombie has some of Lori's hair stuck in its mouth. That's just disturbing...... Edited by monkeylizard

I need to start watching the after show because I totally missed Lori's hair in the zombie's mouth!
The way he searched for Sophia last season, jumping up to go get baby formula, feeding and quiteing the baby it's obvious he was a father at one time.

Or maybe it is just that no one gave a crap about him when he was a kid and he wants to do what he can to keep other kids from having to go through that. Kind of 'balancing the scale', as it were. That is what I am getting. Edited by JAB

Im glad Michonne left. Andrea should have done the same. I wonder who was on the phone? I hate having to wait a week for that. I guess the walker ate what was left of Lori. Poor ol Carol wasnt nowhere to be found either. I was hoping theyd show her alive and well. I like Carol. Rick is currently blood drunk and he better pull his head outta his ass and come back down to reality before he compromises any more lives. I was glad to see the cons still kicking and pitchin in though. Not a bad episode, but not as good as last weeks either.

The show is about to get wayyyyy better.

We shouldnt have to wait too long for Daryl to kill Merle, or Rick to kill the Gov. It sounded a lot like Jim and Amy on the phone with Rick. Likely just going crazy. Next weeks looks like it will be a doozy.

This weeks shows seems to really set up nexts week show. And I am very happy to see Darrell finding Carol and Michonne coming to the prison with the formula. She can fill the group in on what happened to Glen and Maggie.

+1

Im just hoping that they dont kill Glen off anytime soon. Even though he should have shot Merle when he had the chance. As much as I like Merle, he dont play well with others, and tried to shoot Glen in this episode. I feel it will be good for Daryl to finish his brother off. Either way I feel a war is brewing. Rick and his group will have to get Maggie and Glen back. It will be interesting on how they go about doing so.

The phonecalls were just in his head.

They are his link with those he has lost. It will help him cope, even if it is unhealthy.

I don't like Andrea. Never have, still don't.

I think Glenn and Maggie could have handled Merle better. Either shot him, or talked him down. After all, who hasn't had a gun on them in the ZPAW? Then again, Glenn spent a considerable amount of time with Merle before Rick showed up, so maybe he would have been justified to shoot him.

I really wish they would quit with the moral cloudiness of the Governor and show him as evil. Right now I feel that they have shown him as an opportunist, but not clearly as evil. Similar to Rick with a bit more selfishness. I think the coming episodes will solve that issue.

Please, can Michonne stop being a whiny character who is there for nothing more than appearance? She has bothered me this entire season. She has so much potential to be a hard ass like Daryl, yet they just show her being a whiny cross between Lori and Andrea. The scene where she shows up with the formula is pretty powerful and I feel it was her best scene yet.

Carol! I knew she wasn't dead. I wonder where her character goes with Daryl? They have bordered on the romance, yet they have steered away from it many times as well. I wonder if it has to do with waiting on another character to come along, or if they just want to show Daryl as being too hard to love? Even though they have clearly shown he has emotions and feeling for Carol (including a deleted scene when he and Maggie went for formula.)

And I kind of liked Carl's conversation with Daryl. "Yeah, your drunk mother burnt herself alive, I shot my mother. What now?" He has an interesting character, he and the baby both as they are first generation zombie kids. They won't really remember the world before the ZPAW, and survival is all they will know.
