I just received a call and I'm needed for work in the area tomorrow AM. I'm driving in from Knoxville tonight and need suggestions for hotels in the area.

Before we moved out here, I always stayed at the holiday inn on west end, cause you get a pretty good free breakfast and it's right on campus.

If you are paying for it out of pocket, you may want to wait until you get into town and stop at a gas station and pick up one of those hotel coupon books, it'll save you $10-$50 depending on where you stay.

There are Hampton, Courtyard and Marriott all nearby. I think the Vanderbilt Marriott is probably one of the nicer in the area.

Holiday Inn is a good choice but if you plan to stay into the weekend they will probably be booked solid since VU palys Florida on Saturday. There is an Extended Stay about a half mile west of there on West End Ave if you need longer accomodations.

But if you can get a 5th floor plus on the back side of that place, you get a free and fantastic view of the field
