Has anybody got any information on whats going on with Cummins Custom Finishes. I sent them a pistol that I was having done for my father well over 6 weeks ago, there has been no contact from them, the only thing that I have gotten out of them was the debit on my card 6 weeks ago. I have called several times and left 4 messages durning the last 2 weeks and have yet to hear anything. I decided to use them due to the glowing reviews that they had, but now it looks like I going to miss giving him the pistol for his surprise party next Friday. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication from them and won't be able to recommend them to anybody that ask.

I made a reservation and dropped a Sig 228 off with them about four weeks ago. I have used them several times in the last few years. They are a very small shop, the husband and wife are the only employees. Everytime I have been there they have both been working in the shop. They always have an enormous amount of work. If you don't make a reservation you are going to be waiting awhile. The times that I have called them it has always been between 8:30 am and 10:30 am and Mary has always answered the phone. In my experience it is hit and miss with emails. I have experienced wait times from 4 weeks up to 12 weeks just depending on the amount of work they have to do. I guess that is the downside of success. They do great work and everyone knows it.

Your gun was shipped back to you and it was returned to us. I emailed you about the shipping problem the other day but I have never heard anything from you. We reshipped your gun yesterday UPS and sent you the tracking info again

As for our turnaround time it is posted on our website that it can run up to 12 weeks depending on our work load. You never put anything down on the work order form that you needed the gun by any date or that it was a gift.

The gun arrived back and the work is top notch, the wait was longer than I expected when I sent it in, but it was well worth it, GREAT JOB and I look forward to sending you another CZ82 once I get done with the trigger work for a refinish.

Thank You for the perfect work
