Looking for an ORSA member that might be willing to take me over and show me around. I want to join and meet the criteria but I have never been out there. I would really like to try it out. I currently have nowhere to shoot my rifles. Thanks for any help/suggestions.

I've been a member out there for a little over five years. At $10 a month it's the best deal going. If you and George can't make it work give me a shout and I'll see if I can help.

Thanks a bunch to the both of you. I'd love to go sat or Sunday if either of you might be going. Time is completely up to you.

I have 3 mosin nagants and an SKS. That's it.... All milsurps. Hopefully the 7.62 rounds are ok there. I just really want to target shoot around a hundred yards to sight in. ORSA should be the place to be! Also, it's pretty close. I'm in the Farragut area.

They have 100 yd target stands at the benchrest range. Should be perfect for what you want to do. I try to go during the week when I can, it can get pretty busy on the weekend sometimes.

Organizational Research and Systems Analyisis (ORSA)?

Yep, exactly. They get a little ornery when you first start shooting in their labs but they quickly get accustomed to the noise :)

Oak Ridge Sportsmans Association.

LOL

Here's a link to their "outdoor lab facilities" : http://orsaonline.org/facilities.asp

I'm a member there as well, and definitely prefer weekdays as it's much less crowded.

It's a great place to shoot and a real value as well.
