Recommended Posts

I have a Marlin 880 SQ that has been taken down to bare metal on the barrel, i was wondering how much would it cost me to get it re blued. And if it would be better to do it myself, or have someone else that knows what there doing do the job.

I think blueing is best left to a pro. Sure they make cold blueing kits, but all told you will probably be much happier with the look of a professional hot blue job. Now if its just a beater/truck gun, go for it though under those circumstances I'd probably be looking more at a spray on finish personably.

You'd have to consult your local gunsmith for that buddy. Maybe Predator Custom can help?

You know I've had this perverted idea of having my Blackhawk parkerized, might look sharp on your rifle. The usual park job runs $100-$150.

ok thanks for the help
