no.. don't believe so.. that model with the 1 out beside it denotes that it is a newer version of the same series.. if it was different in size.. it would have a different model number on it.. that is how S&W works from all the experience I have had with them in the past.. I believe that you would be alright with getting that holster.

I agree with the others, the dash 1 means a newer version of the same model. I just traded a 4506-1 in on a Kimber and ran into the same questions. On the 4506-1 the -1 meant it had a rounded trigger guard instead of the square one (4506). For me, being the 4506-1 was a discontinued model, I had a heck of a time finding parts which was the main reason I traded it. I hunted all over for a set of aftermarket sights and couldn't find anything. I don't have that problem with my Kimber. Plus the Kimber is much slimmer and easier to conceal.
