I have owned a couple of HP's and loved them. I was looking at a two tone BDM at the last gun show. It was different looking. They wanted what I could buy a Hi-power for so I passed. Give us a range report.

Browning Hi-power owner here. Mine is 20 years old, it doesn't look new but close to it. I dunno much about the BDM. The hi-power is built with some quality, and I suspect anything built by browning is. About the only problem with the system is hi-power mags tend to split with some use. Mec-gar makes a really good replacement and in some cases browning ships mec-gar as OEM.

The Browning Hi-Power is a classic 9mm semiautomatic pistol. I love mine! The BDM is also an excellent pistol. I could have picked a new one up for a song several years ago and passed. My bad!
