Some people. :shake:

The tacticool movement of the gun crowd gives me a bowel movement.

I'm not a Garand fan but this is disgusting.

No offense to whoever owns the gun, it's theirs and they can beat up against a tree if it turns them on, but jeez. It's bad enough to do it to the M14's, at least they have a real purpose.

all that work and they did not fix it to take a decent higcap mag? Pointless. Who wants a taticool gun that fires what, 8 shots?

Well, if it can be done, perhaps it can be un-done. Hopefully the wood stock was put safely to one side to re-habilitate the old warrior.

I want a garand so bad I can taste it(just for historical purposes.) That is completely "OUT OF LINE".

Looks like one of Sons of Guns or American Guns latest projects to me.

PLUS 1. Or that 1919 monstrosity that they did for the cop and his "monthly shoot" or whatever it was.

Hey.. this one would go good with the dudes at the range in tan 5.11`s, tan shirts and the tacticool operator wanna be caps....

Especially when slung tactical style, upside down, walking out to change targets.

Hey now, I like my 5.11 pants. They're useful and have lots of pockets. Though I stopped wearing 5.11 and swapped to another brand.

I think it's sexy. Makes me want to squeeze it, hug it and call it George. :taunt:

I'd own it and shoot the heck out of it, after I sold all the crap on it and put it back into a wood stock.. :usa:

Wow, just wow. It's like a train crashed into another train then the rescue choppers ran out of steam and crashed into the remains. I want to stop looking but I just can't.

I noticed that on Sunday, glad I wasn't the only one. was a real WTF moment.

I guess the guy thought one of us was going to steal it or something, lol

You know, you can put a clown hat on a warrior, and he'll look silly. But, he's still a warrior and can still kick your ass.

Deep down inside all the clown clothes, there is still a Garand, and it's 30.06, and for eight shots it will kick ass.

It's only a little bit of wood away from being dressed properly, and can be again, I imagine.

If I had seen someone shooting that at the range, I never would have known it was a Garand. It just looks like an absurd tacti-cool clip-loaded gun that serves no purpose than to make noise at the gun range. Knowing it is a Garand makes me cringe - just at the waste of money. If you just MUST make a Tacti-cool range toy, there are cheaper options that don't result in bastardizing a piece of history. But, as others have said, it's their gun - have fun but I'd sure want to ask the shooter why they'd made the "upgrades".

And what's wrong with 5.11 pants? They're comfy!
