Clarksville, yet again....

Recommended Posts

You know where the Farmer's market is? You can almost measure the level and intensity of crime

by how high the police cars are stacked up over there. I have to glance over there at the city garage

when I go to the farmer's market.

Damn Monkees! BTW the Farmer's market is at the old L&N railroad passenger depot.

I wish someone would write a song like "last train to Atlanta". Maybe the crime wave would follow. :D

It's getting so almost every weekend theres a shooting or shots fired incident somewhere here in the Quenn City, not sure if any part of town is safe. Live well out in country and have 2 arrested for aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery in seperate cases in the last two months within a half mile of the house.

My wife and I are leaning heavily towards moving out that way to Clarksville. Being that we are from Memphis, are y'all saying we will feel right at home?

Come on down, Chuck. Bring Links with you. We could have a bunch of fun! :D

At the very least, I'd take you guys to a good range and show you how lousy a shot I am.

Now that's funny!

I take my son down to play on the "last train" occasionally. There are only two times I ever thought I might use my pistol. One of them was there. We were approached by druggies looking for a handout. My response was not diplomatic.

The playground right there always has some homeless drunks hanging out with 40 oz malt liquor right in the open. The police garage is literally next door and this still goes on. Carry is still legal in that park, so that is the reason that I still go. My son loves that train. I'll be damned if some punks are going to keep him from seeing it.

On another note, this, like all the other shootings this week, have only affected low life POS's. It won't be coming to my neighborhood any time soon. If it did the news stories would be quite different. The communities in Clarksville that live under the umbrella of dominance that gangs cast over them deserve exactly what they have. If people actually took responsibility for their own community and personal security the gang bangers would have no place to go. In short, eff 'em.

You don't go to the one downtown? I heard they're holding it in McGregor Park now due to so many vendors.
