Tapatalk needs to show location

Currently you can't see a users location in their profile when using tapatalk. I'm assuming this is a setting that can be changed as other sites I use display it.

If this is a feature I can enable somehow within Tapatalk, I will. However Tapatalk is a 3rd party application and not one that I can truly provide any actual support for. It's not even technically "installed" on the forum; it's just a set of files that I copy into a special folder and the rest is taken care of by their service.

It does not appear that Tapatalk supports this for Invision Power Board software. The other forums you speak of probably run a different software such as vBulletin, for example.

vBulletin actually has a new version coming out soon that looks pretty slick and might resolve a lot of the problems I had with the vB4 family. Not saying we're going to switch, but I am saying I am watching their new software pretty closely.

I see you've gotten the HCP field to show under posting profile, nifty.

I've asked before, but one thing I liked about the vBulletin was that it had a real name field in profile if user wanted to show it, and one wanted to look at profile. That field just not available in IPB or you chose not to implement it?

I'm playing around with the feature that added the HCP icon. I'm going to do more with it, I just need to get my head wrapped around the logic they're using to build some of the IPB templates.

As for the real name field, I will see what I can do there.

I use mobile devices 90% of the time when on any site. The location feature would be a great help in the classifieds section.
