I won a chili cook off at work 7 or 8 years back. It's amazing how proud of it I am (not was, still bragging about it today :) ). now to remember what ingredients I used?

My dad was a grave digger (backhoe) worked for the county in California, his standing joke was their dying to come and see me.

Nope. That's not a pic of the actual one I work at, but it gets the point across.

Not my picture (HIPPA violations and all), but this is part of my work environment - the Cardiac Cath Lab.  I am a pacemaker clinical specialist.  I also work in cardiology offices and the occasional emergency room.

My job would be much like the guy in the background with his arms crossed, waiting to test the pacemaker leads once the doctor has them placed in the heart.  My hands don't touch the sterile field.

Waiting to start

Is that "The Tracking Room"?  Or what used to be called the tracking room?  Oceanway now?

I work on cell towers for a living... Most offices don't have this view!

I'm sure your safely harnessed but I'll pass on heights.

I'd just puke and then freeze. Other than that I'd be ok.

I am a registered land surveyor in TN & KY and work on the office end of land surveying with an engineering and land surveying company. So I don't have any pictures of my computer but picture Mt Rushmore in your head and remember that to us surveyors, it is a monument to the three surveyors and the other guy. :)

I always kicked better bare foot as well.  I have no idea why, but a shoe always threw my kicks off.  Punting... different story.

Well my job is lame to look at, but my office has a nice view as long as you don't mind the noise from the helicopters/traffic.

My other "job" gets me a little more out and about,

I often deploy with one of these(borrowed pic)

Carrying these to support GIS mapping and GPS tracking solutions in the DOC. (the run a connection via the web to an ESRI server as well as a stand alone disaster response mapping and logistics software used for routing our response vehicles and deploying volunteers.)

Well, here is my junky office that's too small for all of my stuff.  It's supposed to be temporary until we can shuffle some offices around later this semester.  At least I have a nice view!

Most of my days are spent in hospitals and retail stores so this was relaxing change.
