I know a lot of us have very varied experiences. I think it would be cool if you guys would post a couple pictures from your current or former jobs so we can get an idea of who does what. I'll start

From my previous job as a T58 engine mechanic for the USMC. Taken in the Philippines circa late 2008

From my current job as a Heavy and light duty diesel mechanic. Building the bottom end on an ISX cummins

T58 are a pain in the butt! ;) We had them in the SH-3H helos I worked on. I moved onto the Navy's H-60 program and the T700's were much better. :) If I can find a picture of "then" I will post, but for the past 7 years I have been a house husband/stay at home Dad and I doubt anyone wants to see that. LOL

I really enjoyed the T58 in the CH-46. Phrogs were an endangered species. I was one of the last T58 CDIs in the Marines. The T700 always struck me as a stick together lego engine.

Neil, you got the best job ever.

There is a lot of extreme heat, cold, bugs, sweat,& blood that doesn't show up in those pictures but.....I'd have to agree :D

I sit it a cube all day and beg trucking companies to take my freight. Overall though I have a great job that pays really well.

I'll try to snap a picture tomorrow!

Here are a couple pics of my world. I used to drive over the road for about 4 years but for the last couple years I've been driving local per my request. I like to be home each night with the fam. My truck is a 2013 Kenworth 660 with a 515 Cummins ISX with an APU (generator). I have been to 48 states so many times I can't count. I drive just Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee etc now. About once every six weeks the fiance takes a few days off and we do a run out to Cali and back for some good bucks. She is my co-pilot lol. On the weekends and some weeknights I go on patrol and do transports to Nashville and Murfreesboro and so on. I've been a deputy for about a year now. I enjoy it. y8u3uju5.jpguzu3e7am.jpg

I think I'll just be nice and tell you what I do rather than show a photo. I'm a wound care nurse. I work with any and all wounds and let's just say some are very impressive.

Also watch out for these vicious German shepards!
