I need a new jacket as all my old #### is either worn out, or doesnt fit right anymore. I prefer mechanics/Eisenhower style jackets. I'm also wondering if there is a place in the Oak Ridge/Knoxville/Clinton area who could embroider one after I get it. Does anyone local still carry them, or am I gonna have to order offline? Anyone seen any good deals online? Thanks

I have a Dickies jacket that I would call a mechanic's style that I bought on clearance at Sears about 6 years ago for $4. I love that jacket I wear it all winter unless it is cold enough to need the Carhart.

I've searched sears several times the last couple of years. I don't know why, but all of a sudden these jackets seem damn near impossible to find. I had a nice Dickies mechanic jacket I bought at walmart in 07 that got stolen, and I haven't seen them there since.

I got one on sale for $40 at JCPenny's a couple years ago. It's more a "field coat" style than mechanic's style, but it's held up quite well.

As for online stuff... can't go wrong with Carhart, Cabela's, LLBean, Landsend, ...

Having just looked, Cabela's has some pretty good stuff on sale. If I needed one, I get this without hesitation.

I bought a Jacket from Tractor Supply several years ago. Can't remember the name but it's built like a Carhartt but much alittle darker in color. I have a Carhartt too and I think the TSC one is much better quality. Plus, it doens't have those godaweful scrunchy cuffs I hate those!

Have you gone to Knoxville and looked?
