Economical hunting holster for Encore or Super Redhawk ??

I have a Encore Pro Hunter with a scope, and a Super Redhawk 7-1/2" upon which I can put a red-dot, or leave it with iron sights.

I will be using family ATV or UTV, so needs to be good for riding and walking.

No paycheck, so limited budget.

I have looked at Uncle Mikes scabbard, and their shoulder rigs. As usual, I have procrastinated until the season is nigh....

Anyone have suggestions on a decent holster for hunting ?

Thanks, Bert

nylon velcro type, if you take the optics off, $20 or so and hold up well enough. With optics, not sure --- you either expose the optics by slitting the side or find something big enough to take it with the optics on (uncommon and more expensive, possibly only custom work will do?).

A pop rivet gun, 2 pieces of medium stiff/thick leather and you can make something that will work well and be rugged, if not exactly a work of art.
