The statement above wasn't directed at you. It was in general. In seeing how you post here as well as talking to your son I am sure we could have a conversation without it going south, even if it was something we were passionate about.

Unfortunately, like you already said, that has not held true for others I have tried to discuss with. People get hurt and it is better for me to avoid it than take a chance, especially among friends.
