Stevens Semi auto .22

Anyone know anything about these?

I know Savage also sells Stevens but that is the extent of what I know about them.

Might be picking up a used one tomorrow.

Well, I'm certainly not an expert on them but back in the sixties (that's the nineteen sixties... not the eighteen sixties) I had a Sears .22 auto that I'm pretty sure was made by Stevens and I liked it just fine except that sometimes it would jam and fire with the bolt still open. I've still got a scar to prove it, too.

i picked up the Stevens Model 62 yesterday. Spent about an hour cleaning it up and then took it out to shoot.

It functioned great. I think I got a steal for the price paid.

i would like to pick up an extra mag for it though.

Sears made em I believe along with several other companies. Check your local dealer for the mag. If they don't have it they can order it.
