My 22 year old unit has finally died. The compressor locked up and I guess I need to buy a new, more efficent unit now. Does anyone know any good companies to call for quotes? I have a quote from Hiller and Lee company is quoting me today. Luckily, my unit picked the best time of year to break! The weather is perfect for windows up!

We bought a unit from Hiller a couple of months ago. They price match, so we saved a couple of thousand by getting a competitive quote from another company.

Try Greenridge heating and cooling, he's in Greenbrier but will travel. Tony Bernstine is the owner, 1 man shop and he will do you right. Also he's a gun guy. I have even traded some work for guns from him before.

Get your quotes then get in touch with me. I am in the HVAC business--i would be happy to help explain the jargon and answer any questions (including pricing) you might have. Don't worry, your way outside of our service area so i won't be selling you anything
