Well, they just got me again! Some may have problems with their service but this order can take as long as it needs to get here cause I gotta figure out a wat to smuggle it in the house and hide it. They're selling an upper that normally goes for $400 for $280.

I doubt that sale will do anything to help the already lengthy shipping times.

They're like Botach.....some have good experiences with them.....up until they don't. Although I don't think they're as bad, they're not worth the potential problems IMO.

One surefire way I've seen to get them to respond to you is to start a complaint thread in the Feedback section of Arfcom. They may not answer phones or email but they're on that stuff most ricky-tik :down: .

I put a comment up on their Facebook page and it got deleted and I got blocked from posting there. It was not a ranting comment nor did I blast the company. I simply expressed my concern at the lack of customer service I had received. Guess they'd rather stick their heads in the sand than fix the problem.

Brother, that's been their M.O. They are infamous for deleting negative posts about them everywhere they have control. I'm still amazed at all the chuckleheads that spring to their defense and insist they do no wrong.

Maybe I'll go in and start the process to buy something then jut walk out :)

Update: I called customer service over and over again today until I finally got someone on the phone.

ME: I'd like to check on the status of my order. I paid for it 11 days ago and haven't heard anything since. My name is _____, my order number is _____.

HER: Can I put you on hold for a minute while I check on that?

About two minutes later:

HER: I checked with the guys in the back and they're still building your rifle. They have all of the parts but it will be next week before it ships.

ME: I ordered a Sig Sauer rifle. Don't they come already assembled?

HER: No, they come with most of the parts but we have to add some of our own.

ME: Uh, okay.......

About three hours later I get an email from someone at the shop saying my rifle would ship tomorrow morning. WTF???

That sounds about right Fred. I honestly think it's a complete lack of organization on their part.

They are clueless!

I fully believe that:

a. the lady I talked to had no idea what kind of rifle I had ordered

b. my rifle is only shipping tomorrow because I called and asked about why it was taking so long

This is assuming it actually ships tomorrow. I won't believe anything until I have a tracking number.

Yep. They're on my permanent suck list because they tried to blow smoke up my butt (intentional or not). I would rather deal with RRA and their special kinda service. At least RRA is backed up because they have a great product.

They're service department and shipping times right now leave alot to be desired, but I have 2 of their rifles and the quality of their product has been outstanding. They eat everything I put throught them, the fit and finish is excellent and the price was great.

Classic PSA. Twice now after asking about an order it's miracously appeared the next day without a word from them, or even an email notice telling me it shipped.

Nothing against the PSA product. RRA has a GREAT product.

RRA has 90 days to 4 month estimated lead time on any build right now and isn't even releasing most components for sale.

I've decided to mostly stick up for PSA some, since I've discovered there's more of an AR panic out there than I knew. Pricing and availability right now goes a long way, and even I'll put up with less than stellar CS for a really good deal. Hell, I shop at WalMart, too. :)

I know the panic is back on. Had to go to six vendors to find in stock parts for the last one. Palmetto Bug wasn't one of them. They already screwed up one build schedule for me.

Well.. I ordered a lower from them on Friday the 21st... And, I called them today and ask them when it would ship, the guy sounded clueless, and told me "in the next few days."

I snuck in, well, it says on your website that it ships in 5 days at the longest, and he said, "Well, that doesn't count for weekends..."

It'll be the last time I order anything from them unless they are wayyyy cheaper and I can wait 20 days to get it...
