Texas mom arrested for letting her children play outside

At that age i would yell 'goin down the road". In later years my mother told me she didn't know if that meant I was going to play on the street in front of the house, going down town or where-ever. Growing up in small town West Virginia was great. The times they have changed.

I wonder what George Washington's or Thomas Jefferson's reaction would have been if some British Soldiers had come onto their estate and tried to arrest them for the crime of "allowing their children to play outside".

This is ridiculous. I used to live next door to a lowlife that let her toddlers stay outside all the time and no one said a word because they stayed in their yard and outside of being loud didn't hurt anyone.
