Any gun with a safety, lets take a 1911 for example, requires the same basic movement as popping the saf-t-blok out of a glock. Any gun with a built in safety would also require the user to have to think about and remember to release the safety......which would require practice with the weapon until releasing the safety becomes a natural process. It's the same thing when you use a saf-t-block in your glock. Sure, you definitely need to practice releasing the saf-t-blok when you draw your weapon until it becomes second nature.......just as you would practice releasing the safety on a 1911.
