They no speaky da Arabi. Mostly Dari (Farsi) or Pashtu. Of course, words for "God" and "Satan" are the same, and use the same alphabet characters to spell in all three languages.

Sorry. Iraq on the brain. I stand corrected and bow to superior knowledge. So, "Allah is Satan" in Dari, Farsi or Pashtu would work for me.

I am NOT thinking "God is Satan." Me personally, I don't equate "God" with "Allah" Not the same guy. If they are incapable of distinguishing between God and Allah, no need to chalk up the rocket. I guess "Have a Nice Day! (with a smiley face)" would work.

I am better prepared than most, but I don't think that anyone can be really prepared for a wide/large/prolonged type economic collapse or the following civil unrest.

As far as what I have done lately to prep? I have started commercial fishing, which at the very least be able to put food on my table & give me some barterable goods when/if the grocery store shelves are empty.

I'm in Afghanistan and let me tell you it is real......the whole Muslim world is kind of Po'ed right now because of that movie but none of them has even seen it, they don't have a regular source of internet like we do.....but whats worse is every terrorist movement out there is using it to their full advantage as an excuse to attack any and all US diplomats in any country that has a US embassy, which tells me that there is a larger cause for all this anger. All of our bases over here are on full alert and we are catching all kinds of hell ever since this thing has escalated. Its a mess right now, so watch yourselves in any place that has crowds. Just like said before .....watch the dollar become so worthless, the feds are trying to stimulate the economy again (for the third time) and its about to absolutely shred the dollar. Several very rich people have been selling off their stocks in anything related to the US economy, its about to take a huge dump according to the economists. Watch the news...look whos bailing, you will see a trend.

That movie is an excuse for this? Barbara Streisand! That's what the preprogrammed press releases want you to believe.

Look at their lives now and for them getting to paradise is something they strive for. You cannot do anything that will make someone not want to go to paradise so you need to remove paradise as an option.

We need to do whatever it takes to make them believe they will not get to paradise. Anything short of that and they will never run out of volunteers willing to get to paradise ahead of schedule.

I'm all for helping them to meet their god, paradise or their virgins. I would like to think of it as doing my good deed in this life....help a brother out. After seeing how the people live here I'm more inclined to think of it as my civic duty and help remove them from this self induced misery. Hopefully before they reproduce and spawn more hatred......OK...I have marker in hand and I'm headed over to the FARP/REARM site to scribble some well wishes for you guys and show them that we care. I've learned that canned home made meat loaf is delicious. My wife is getting into this stuff in a good way.

I have printed out a few articles on home canning meat and plan/hope to get started soon, myself. The lady who wrote the article I read was saying not to plan for things where you would use it like fresh meat (in other words, you ain't gonna open up a jar of home-canned steak and toss it on the grill) but if you make things like meat loaf or can beef roasts, stew meat, etc. and plan to use accordingly it works pretty well. That lady says she cans whole chickens but I'm not sure I could get that to work. Quart jars are probably about as big as I can go. I like the idea of catching meat on sale and buying a lot of it at a good price to can.

I have home-canned soups, stews, etc. with meat in them and they did fine. I recently canned some home-made chili and in the past have canned some home-made Brunswick stew. I remember opening/eating a jar of the Brunswick stew more than a year later and it tasted just as good as the day I made it. I just haven't tried canning meat, alone, to be used in other dishes later.
