A medical summary of BRD:

A scientific explanation on this phenomenon:

BRD, or more specifically Blacus Rifulus, is a disease that emerged nearly 44 years ago. However due to the limitations of the exposure to the vector, the Armalite Rifle, very few cases were reported until the early 1990's. In an effort to suppress the disease the Government, under socialist, erm, Democratic rule, released what they thought would be a cure for BRD.

The cure released for BRD by the government in 1994 was called the "Clinton Gun Ban". Initially this cure seemed to work, however in reality this just limited the spread of the disease to the more wealthy and/or determined. This "cure" continued for 10 years, finally wearing off in September of 2004.

The "cure" actually laid the ground-work for the explosion of the disease at an exponential rate. Suddenly everyone and their brother was susceptible to this new, more aggressive form of BRD.

Indications of BRD can manifest themselves in a variety of ways. Uncontrollable urges to visit ARFCOM hourly, surfing AR-15 accessories in a manner more commonly associated with the viewing of internet pornography. Seeing a field and visualizing yourself shooting in this field (for safe queens, it is like seeing a new safe at a gun store and picturing yourself putting your pretty rifles in it). Endless deliveries of product in small cardboard boxes from WI, ME, TX, WA, and GA, containing plastic, aluminum, and steel. Taking endless pictures of the affected area(s)

BRD can be spread in a variety of ways. Visually either in person or on a monitor. Physically , as in touching a vector, or being handed one. Via saliva, as in drooling over an AR-15. The images to avoid are of the affected areas of MFingar or Stickman, as their strain in particularly strong.

BRD is capable of budding or replication, as seen in many creatures on earth. For example something as innocuous as a Tangodown Pistol Grip can over time grow into a K.I.S.S. carbine, a new and particularly nasty strain of BRD. The only way of preventing such budding or replication is to immediately sell your discarded parts to another affected with BRD.

At this time there is no proven cure for BRD, other than moving to California, where local government experiments with BRD have caused horrible transformations and often disfiguration of the BRD. These particular strains of the BRD are often times mocked by those from other states where BRD runs unchecked. Common mutations of what is being called Californicus Blacus Rifulus are as follows. Silly stock/grip combos, non-removable magazines/welded magazines, or the utter lack a a mag well. If you come in contact with Californicus Blacus Rifulus, do not be alarmed, it is non-transmittable. Only strains from unrestricted states are transmittable.

In closing, BRD is very widespread affecting over 20 million people world wide, those affected by BRD are often times less afraid of the government ( except those affected by Californicus Blacus Rifulus), frequently broke and have an almost voracious appetite for All-brass .55gr and .62gr ammo. If after reading this you discover you have BRD, do not be alarmed, simply contact anyone of us here at ARFCOM and will will talk to you about treatment options. BRD, it is an illness you live with, it cannot be cured.....
