The speeches by his friends at the Convention were also moving, no pun intended. :usa:

No doubt he's an outstanding moral person, just hope he governs conservatively.

I think he will. And articles like that won't get the light of day. It's too bad.

Ain't no hope involved. I think he will do just fine, conservatively, that is.

On my wish list is to not see another Harry Reid Senate, for the rest of my life.

Those articles won't even change the minds of those on this forum, much less getting light of day to the sheeple. Yep, it's too bad.

Great article. Interesting that he was already filthy stinking rich at the time of the events in this article. If more knew this side of him, I think there'd be less distrust.

Distrusting someone because they're not a good BS artist. I love American politics :). Hard to trust anybody with all the mud slinging.

Not sure why it should change anyone's mind.

It kind of goes to show he isn't necessarily what people think he is. Politics is localized. Whatever he did or didn't do

in Mass. isn't necessarily reflective of what he would do if prez.

I posted it because of all the negative press he gets on one particular topic, that is not representative of who he is.

When in Rome...

Amen to that.

Does it not reflect on his character and values. The buyers thought so. I'd take character and a value system any day

over the mudslinging. I thought you might, also.

I'll say it, this story does speak very well of his personal character. Were it not for his record as governor, this would be a check in the "reasons to vote for" column. It is a shame he has that millstone of an executive record hanging around his neck.
