benchmade rift auto

Recommended Posts

Anybody have this knife? I'm looking at picking up this knife as my edc. I have started carrying a reverse tanto style blade and i love it. I seen this knife yesterday and I'm thinking i would really like it. Any reviews you guys can give me i would appreciate it. Or any knives with the same blade style you can recommend would be great also. Also what's benchmades lifetime warranty like? What all does it cover?

Unless you are LEO, Fire/EMS, or Military you can't carry an auto knife in Tennessee.

That aside I'm sure the blade is great. I like the shape of the belly. I carry a Benchmade Presidio, with a traditional tanto point.

You might look at the Osborne. It's a similar blade as the Rift. Of course the Rift comes in a non-auto option.

I was windering about the speed as well...i really like the osborne but that kicks up the price a littke too rich for my edc

The blade is pretty heavy which I think lends to the sluggish open. But I only compared to, like a, Kershaw assisted open.

I'm not sure of any local dealers in the Tri-Cities that carry Benchmade autos. I know Smokey Mtn Knife Works carries a few but not many. Mahoneys has a few Autos but not sure they have any Benchmade.
