MIke, I have been remiss in not commenting on your new avatar. Thank you for honoring the memory of a very funny guy and great actor.

Anyway, I am shocked none of the Scotch afficianados has mentioned Laphroig. It is the Guinness of Scotches, a smoky peaty drink you could stand a spoon up in. When I am cold and soaked, that works wonders.

ETA: and now you've gone and changed from Harvey Korman to some guy I dont recognize. I take back what I said and your momma wear army boots.

Thanks Bill, I have since changed it, I know Dotsun is hot for me and this new one will drive him crazy. I will bring Harvey Korman back tomorrow.

I always liked Korman. Loved him on Carol Burnett and he pretty much was key in how well Blazing Saddles turned out. I am not sure who could have played his part in that movie as well as he played it. That guy did some serious comedy and I am clueless as to how other actors could keep a straight face playing opposite him.

Laphoig is one of my labels. I have not tasted it before but on your recommendation I will make sure I get a bottle this coming winter.

(whoa, three more posts to get to 2500, I am sure I can reach this in short order!! )

I used to drink kettle one vodka until I Ciroc. Yes it's from grapes but it is smooth (to me).
