Thanks I guess its one of those things you keep taking to the range and adjust.

Do you know anyone with a rail mounted laser you could borrow? I used one to determine that it was not me anticipating recoil when squeezing.

might be a good idea I never thought of that I will ask around. I did have my brother shoot it and he also shot low.

Are you new to the Springfield XD series? If so, many many people struggle to learn the trigger.

Have you done all the "typical" items to make sure it is not you: have someone else shoot it, shoot from a bench rest, try different ammo.

You can rule all those things out and then if you think your XD has a problem, Springfield Armory has about the best Customer Service out there, just give them a call and they will check the gun over.

I have tried different ammunition along with had others shoot it all with the same results. I am new to the XD series and new to the semi auto series fr that matter. I have always carried and shot revolvers. I will search for the correction target and use next time I go to the range, If that does not help I will contact Springfield.

Just practice dry firing a lot watching for movement. A competition shooter I know dry fires for 30min a day. Have someone else watch to see if any part of the gun is moving other than the trigger while you dry fire. If your shooting 6" low at 15yrds I probably wouldn't even worry about it. What kind of shooting low are you talking?
