Interesting concept. What would be the long term effects of water exposure on the undead body and brain. Also, would it poison the water? How many can be in the water before it is poisonous?

Will they kill the fish, who will inevitably try to eat the dead body? Zombie fish?

I think in certain situations an island would be protective. The body would have to survive long enough to be washed up and be viable enough to move.

I agree about the scary part! I think anywhere that there is a good alligator population would be cleaned out of Z's quicker than elsewhere. Florida, or Louisiana, here I come!

Now you are onto a question I have...if an alligator eats a zombie, does it become a zombie too? Or is it immune but a carrier (i eat the gator, i get sick). Will a zombie eat an alligator? Valid questions that came up while driving thru the Everglades.
