I think it depends on which zombies we're talking about. The more traditional ones aren't very coordinated, so they definitely ain't swimming

I agree with Mike, they'd likely bob and sink. The scary part is they'd be at the bottom of the pond or whatever forever.

Was wondering what was the mass opinions were on zombies being able to swim or walk under water?

I've been using World War Z as my guide for the walking dead lately; the wife bought the ebook for me last year and it was a good read. Interesting enough to get me to read it in a couple of days. According to the book they survive underwater once they sink and are able to travel the globe underwater. Kinda puts to rest the "island zombie plan".

EDIT: The "Alaska zombie plan" is still valid though. There is a good "Red vs Blue" public service announcement on that one.

I agree about the scary part! I think anywhere that there is a good alligator population would be cleaned out of Z's quicker than elsewhere. Florida, or Louisiana, here I come!

I think I would rather deal with the zombies than a bunch of liberals. You can shoot a zombie.

Well there's always Alaska. Plus I'm sure the new President of Alaska won't be a limp wrist. We'd just have to go to Canada to steal their women.

TMF, I read WWZ too, good read. The audiobook was even better. Different readers for different parts.

One of my favorite bits was the comment that the zeds were so dumb they couldn't get themselves out of seatbelts, so you had to be careful around 'abandoned' looking cars.

Naw. Just give them an AR-15 and they're fine...

That place looks familiar.
