I guess it was bound to happen. Kick Me here for jacking up the TGO database!

Let me just say that I have run a vBulletin forum for over 6 years... and today was the first time in that entire 6 year run that I have managed to absolutely jack up the database by copying and pasting the wrong piece of code.

:(

The bad news is that I had to go ahead and wipe out the database and restore from a backup a little more than 24 hours old. The good news is that we're back online in a hell of a lot less time than it would have taken for me and the vBulletin tech support people to get the existing data cleaned up and straightened back out. I am soooo pissed.

So...

By the way is there any rhyme or reason to the titles under our user names. I am a Senior member with 400+ posts yet Tower is only a Member with 1900+ posts? Part of the Glitch?

I'm going to let it "settle" for a few minutes then make some more tweaks. When I do, the user titles should come back into line.

Tungsten things do happen, I use to run a forum and I know how one line of code can screw up things LOL. I am glad it was minimal and all is well 'cept for missing a few posts. You do a great job and we do appreciate you!

Shows how important computer back ups are. I wonder how many of us have backed up our own personal computers within the last 24 hours or even the last 24 months??
