I bet it won't be ready on day 14 either, but magic seems to happen at midnight rolling from the 14th to the 15th. Nobody knows or understands this process.

Well I got a call from the dealer today. He said he got the OK to go ahead. I was approved. The lady I spoke with at TICS last week said to give it till today. And imagine that today it was pushed thru. I'm relieved. Thanks for all the input from everyone.

What sucks is that since approved, I guess they don't tell you what the prob was, right? So you don't know if the same thing is gonna happen next time?

Not a clue. TICS said they will notify dealer whether upheld or overturned, that was all they will do since they cannot release any other info.

Maybe it's that I'm a dang ol' yankee lol. :shhh:

I can hardly wait till 2014 when these same efficient government personel will also be in charge of our health care. :usa:

Just make sure to fill out the paper work at least 15 days before you get sick. I am telling you, they are using magic.

Well, you have HCP, so whatever it is should get worked out.

Question I always ask, did you use your SSN? That seems to cut through the chaff most of the time.

When I went to pick up today I looked at the 4473 before I signed it. I did not include my SSN :shake: . Not sure if that was the problem or not. But dealer faxed my appeal around 5pm Friday the 7th. Appeal was overturned the 13th. He was notified today, the 17th. Guess not too bad overall.

Now to find a location to shoot this baby.

Well since you are in Lafollette, there is a nice range near The City of Norris not to far from you. You pay at the city of Norris PD/fire station. Pay per visit or yearly. (last time I had mine it was 40 a year or 60 for you and wife for a year) Don't carry inside. If you go to Oak Ridge often, ORSA is a good range (requires membership 120 yr I includes immediate family).

I don't include my SSN number on my app, as it is optional but it can help clear things up in case others have the same name and a questionable background I understand.

I always include my SSN, since my last name is a very common Irish surname, made much more common when one's first name is "Patrick". My dad, my brother, and I found ourselves subject to extra scrutiny when boarding airlines after 9/11 due to this issue, likely due to sharing names with some of the boyos up to no good back in Ireland who were put on "no-fly" lists - at least that's how it was explained to us, so take the explanation with a grain of salt, since I got it thirdhand from dad. Oddly, that worked itself out without further action on my part (thankfully - I spent many hours in the air over the past year).
