I've had a good friend be down on his luck and sell me a pistol for the same price as he was offered at a pawn shop. Once he got back on his feet, I let him have it back at the same price, well minus the ammo I'd shot. I'd only have reservations if this was someone you don't know.

Never handled a 250, but I did shoot one of the first polymer framed Sigs, a 2022 methinks. If it hadn't said SigSauer on it I would never believed it was a Sig. Only Sig I had to compare it to was a P220, only double action trigger pull(non-revolver) that I've ever been accurate with. I suspect the difference between this Sig and the budget model will be night and day.

I love my Sig P239. I would buy that in a heartbeat. Here is a deal I came across... SIG P290 with laser in good condition for $500. Thoughts?

Sig is selling some new 290RS w/ laser and 6 & 8 round mags for $500. ($499 at Buds). If it's one of those you'd be saving the TICS and transfer fee.

If it's not an RS, I'd pass and hunt down the RS model.
