Ok, I am a sucker for unusual guns and small guns. I saw this add for an online sale for a mini 6 round .22lr. It is only $100 so I assume that it is junk, but wanted to see if i could get some feedback. the top break is what really makes me what it. Anyone know anything about this? the description is:

NEW Leinad 6 Shot Mini Pocket Revolver Made in USA, very simple solid design, single action, manual rotating. barrel breaks open like a shotgun to reveal a six shot removable cylinder. fitted with a safety catch for safe carrying.

Google says they were made in TN. Company now out of business. Crudely finished.

Honestly, id give it a try for $100. But ive always loved the old pepperbox pistols

All I can say is if you get it and hate it I'd give you your back in it if you passed it my way. That thing looks cool as hell!

That company made some intresting little handguns and did some major advertising but still folded.FWIW at $100.00 I don't think you'll be disappointed, besides it'll be something cool to take to the range and let other folks ask questions about it.

I saw one of their other guns at the range and it was well made but crude -- probably too well made (extra thick and strong). If this one is as well done, it will be plenty safe and will work fine.

Beware. Safety features are crude on these. If the manual safety isn't engaged, the hammer WILL rest on the primer. And if it's dropped and the hammer is struck, it WILL fire. My dad has a leg full of shot from a .410 round to prove it.

I think the company was based in Ducktown, TN. If I am not mistaken, the company went under largely because of a divorce. At least that is the story I heard - not sure if it is true.

Didn't Cobra or one of the other 'economical' companies buy the rights to produce some of their designs when the company went out of business?

That little gun does look interesting. Of their products, though, the one I'd want is the double-barreled (SxS) 'derringer' that is chambered for .410 and .45. I've seen those for pretty good prices but I haven't bought one - mostly because I am afraid that if I bought it I'd want to shoot it and things could go downhill from there.
