Ron Paul's Last Chance To Run 3rd Party

There's nothing wrong with Ron Paul. I like most of his ideas and where he stands on personal liberty. But why do this now? He has an infinitismal chance of winning. All his efforts will go toward splitting the hopefully conservative vote and just make it that much easier for Obama to get a second term.

As I said, I really like Paul; I'm not anti-Paul. I'd like to see him in the office. I don't think he could screw it up any worse than most. But at this point, the battle is moot. He can't expect to win. He and all his supporters should band together in the effort to remove Obama from the Presidency.

Ok. I've said my mind. Don't want to get into a Paul vs everyone fight. Just think it's time to join forces and move forward.

Since a new party can't get on any state ballots now, just what 3rd party is he to run under?

A point I have been trying to make in multiple ways is that to a large number of what are dismissively referred to as "Paulbots", RP was the reason they were going to vote Republican this cycle. Many of us view Romney as no better or even different from Obama. It is a case of 6 of one, half a dozen of another. The enemy of my enemy is my friend does not apply when Romney's history puts him in the position of being the exact same enemy of liberty as the current resident of the White House. It would be like us uniting with Russia against China during the Cold War.
