Accurate 2460 in the 308 Winchester

Anybody trying 2460 in the 308? I have a pound and I am going to test it...I also have some 223 and 2520...I normally just use 760/H414, 4895 or 4064 but I won't to do these on the Dillon 550 and I want a ball powder slower than 760. I have 748 but I want to save that for the 223's and use up some of these others.

Ive used 2230 to make an excellent light load, but have not tried to take that all the way up. I think you could do it. I would say mine are about 75% of the starter load, dead on at 200 yards which is all the space I have. It burned clean and fully, might give it a try.

Just an FYI, I have not shot these for groups and tight SD's and ES's do not always translate into good groups but I had a chance to put 5 150 grain Sierras over 44.0 grains of 2460, LC cases and WW primers today. Velocity was 2776 avg, ES was 29 and SD was 11.
