Congrats! Why the change? Any particular reason?

Several reasons, Back in Oct. I went with a bunch guys to East Tn and we mainly rode around the the speed limit and when I got back my wrist hurt and my pinkies stayed numb for two weeks after that, but I went to Huntsville, Al. (350 miles total in one day) about a month ago and I kept my speed between 85-95 on the way down there and about 80 on there way back and did not hurt at all, because the wind was pushing me back taking pressure off my wrist. Another reason is here lately I have been flying around the curves and I was afraid I was going to get a big ticket. But the icing on the cake was my wife got her M/C license the first of April and I bought her a GZ250 cruiser and I wanted a bike that I was comfortable cruising with her, and we are planning a trip to Alabama the first week in July.

Nice choice. I thought about gettin one, but I can't make up my mind if I was a cruiser instead.

Enjoy and be safe.

Thanks, I looked at a lot of bikes before I settled on the M/S but the M/S fit me the best and it was also within my budget which was a big plus. I sold my ZZR and put $200 extra with it to buy this bike, but i had to drive almost to Atlanta to pick it up.

I have a Ducati GT and love it; but yours looks real mean. I like it. Watch out for all those idiots in the cages.

Well, guess what? I sold the Mean Streak last Wed. (9-27-08) and bought another ZZR1200. I missed the power and cornering clearance of the ZZR.

Those that like the sport bikes just keep coming back to them. Before I got my little GS500F last May it had been like 18 years since I had ridden. Last bike was a Ninja 900 (like Tommy Cruise rode in Top Gun...yeah a while ago). Anyway, I looked around, climbed on bikes at three different places and knew I was home the moment I got on the Suzuki. Price was foremost but knowing how the sport bikes corner and handle plus the newer lower seating position, it was easy to pass up the cruisers.

Glad your back where you belong ZZR. Now....who the hell is living in the 80s behind you with the multiple freaking supersized satellite dishes? Looks like an old tactical intel center from the 80s behind ya! Call codes and tell them your grass is dying from lack of sun light from those things!

Rode an ST1100 with them installed and they can make an amazing difference in hand/arm comfort. If all my bikes were not old jalopies I would have them on my long distance bike.
