Picking one up a p22 to hold on a loan i gave a coworker. Anyone tried anything besides cci through em and had luck ?. I was always told the only thing they will shoot is cci. He said its only had 300 rds through the gun and dont remember what kind.

Mine feeds about anything, but then it has polished feedramp, well lubed and run wet, and over 5000 rounds through it.

I strip, clean, & lube it thoroughly at the end of every 550 bulk pack (otherwise spray & wipe with Rem Oil). My record is 700+ rounds in one session before it started acting up in need of cleaning.

BTW..they are sensitive to limpwristing with cheap ammo (all I use). When I shoot it, I get 1-2 FTFeed or FTEject / 550. Some buddies get 1-2 per mag until I explain to them "Grip it right!".

It is a great little pistol.
